‘At the violet hour, the evening hour that strives
Homeward, and brings the sailor home from sea,
The typist home at teatime, clears her breakfast, lights

On the 7th April I’ll join consultant David Alderson from HeArTs | Health and the Arts in Torbay and South Devon. David hosts a monthly cultural zoom talk with hospital staff. I’ve been asked as a guest speaker to talk about cultural heritage and my reasons for creating art.
In 2019 I curated ‘Our place in the seven heavens’ with Artizan Gallery Torquay. The exhibition of art and poetry moved to Torbay Hospital and was the beginning of my collaboration between health and the arts in Torbay
